It never ceases to amaze me how bad that companies and professionals dealing with consumers.
Before allowing people to shave, think and speak for itself.
Today, when obtaining an MRI, MRA and an M that not a few forests to the procedure relating to the assessment of my head after having been in a car accident with a drunk driver … I was surprised when I learned before to execute the arm I had to get a shot called "contrast" that neither the doctor nor the nurses attending I never predicted.
In reading all the legal details and the contract signed my life away (I never do, as I like the blue things in the original contracts and of those, so below) regarding the possible side effects of this injection, I started asking questions about the injection of how necessary it was with my RA.
Of course, the technician should do (procedure and another 10 that day) was not pleasant, not reassuring, NI informed and patient enough to describe the procedure and why the shot was necessary.
But when I refused the shot and the arm receipt of information, strong economic motivation MRA technician and laboratory supplier fell them long enough to begin to answer unsanswered some of my questions.
At first the secretary and reception technology tried to feed me rubbish about how "all" becomes the contrast and saw that two people have a reaction. I asked about these two individuals and the extent of adverse effects.
Technology was happy to give me the non-contrast MRA, but my doctor said he has asked the opposition to be used for more in my brain, if (God forbid) something that not on it.
If I refused the contrast and something appeared on MRI and proven guilty, then I have to go back and redo the procedure … this time with contrast.
So I called my doctor (I have never been on the phone) for more information (which I received before the appointment and tests that were scheduled in the first place) and got a little more information from your nurse.
The point of the whole matter is that consumers must be proactive and not let people treat us as tools and livestock to be pushed.
The technology was initially a little aggressive with me, saying: "We to start. "I refused until I felt comfortable and received additional information. It was the tech gave me a piece of paper with a very detailed list of all possible side effects and adverse reactions to the injection.
But none of this was given to me before the appointment, or I offer for consideration, or given to the laboratory until I asked.

That said, stand up for yourself and use the spine before you let people treat you like a piece of meat for the tests and procedures immediately.
Be an informed consumer and active, never bent or caving in a particular policy when it comes to your body and your wallet.
